Why LiveramSolutions?

A word from the creator

After a corporate restructuring in 2023 led me to look for a change from my long time professional career in operations and logistics as well as being involved in various support roles including IT and solution based problem solving, I found myself working in a new environment with different resources and challenges.

Driven by a simple frustration, repeatedly opening office programs each day to perform the same calculations. In a workplace where most tools are already browser based, it made far more sense to bring those spreadsheet functions into a webpage that could stay open and easily accessible at all times, and in 2024 I conceived LiveramSolutions.

From there, the idea grew. After speaking with family and friends and realising even "Free" sites where you have to create a sign in account are not free, adds, links and what you do there is your payment, I asked myself: What useful tools could be created to help others? More importantly, what services currently sit behind paywalls that could instead be offered freely?

That question set everything in motion.

It also sparked a broader reflection on how software used to be simpler, more accessible, and more user focused. Freeware was genuinely free, or you paid once and owned it for life. Programs were purpose-built, straightforward, and designed to do a specific job well. There were no subscriptions, no constant upgrade fees for features you may never need, and no requirement to sign up and hand over personal information just to get started. Most importantly, software ran on your device and respected your privacy.

LiveramSolutions aims to bring a bit of that philosophy back.

While I am not part of the IT or tech industry, and my skills are self developed, the tools available today make it possible to turn practical ideas into real, usable applications. This site is a result of that, built with the goal of creating simple, effective tools that anyone can access, utilise and benefit from.

At its core, this project is about helping. If even one person finds a tool here that solves a problem or saves time, makes them smile, even just once, then this site has achieved its purpose.
